BSI 2020 Chinese New Year Holiday Office Reschedule Statemen
BEIJING, Jan. 29, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- According to the official statement issued by the State Council's General Office on the extension of the Spring Festival holiday in 2020, which is aimed to strengthen the prevention and control of the new type of corona virus infection with pneumonia, effectively reduce the concentration of people, block the spread of the disease and better protect the lives and health of the people, BSI China (part of BSI Group) management released the official statement on the working arrangement after Spring Festival holiday with deliberate consideration as follows:
The date to return to work after the Spring Festival was originally scheduled for Jan 31st and has now been postponed to February 10th. The date may be updated based on new developments on the impact of the disease and guidance from local government.
After the resumption of work, the assurance will restart according to the epidemic situation in each region and the exact date will be confirmed with customers specifically.
Suspension of the public training before Feb 20 and the restart date will be announced after the outbreak has become clearer and aligned with each regions policy.
Disease Prevention Measures:
All the BSI auditors and trainers will be equipped with necessary protection device, i.e. masks, and ensure the personal disinfection.
BSI staff will be closely monitored on the health situation and travelling during the Spring Festival holiday, and Employees in key areas of the epidemic. I.e. Wuhan, will be self-segregated for 7 to 14 days to ensure their health before returning to work
The public training area will be cleaned every day, all incoming and outgoing personnel must pass the temperature test before entering the office area. Immediate reports to the relevant departments if any abnormal condition
Validity of Certificates:
If the certification on a client's organization is about to expire, BSI will offer the exclusive solution to ensure the validity of the client's certificates. If the client has requests for review (or assessment/ auditing) reports, BSI will contact the client in advance to renegotiate the time.
The BSI will strengthen the hygiene and cleanliness measures in public areas after the holiday, ensure the health monitors on external staff and make sure the safety and health of both organizations and individuals.
